 School Website:

    Personally, I have never had a need to go to a school website, at the very least the home site. The only case for this has been for FSU and instead of going to their home page I have had to Google search for more specific sites for more specific topics or circumstances. This kind of makes their home page semi obsolete in the case of trying to find specific information. For example, if you are looking for where to apply for the school itself you just Google "FSU application" instead of actually going to the homepage.

Myself with Technology in Teaching:

    Most likely I would just use simple things like Word, Power point, and MAYBE Excel, and of course whatever class/course site is provided/required. I don't really see much of a point or need for some of the things we have gone over, this is my opinion I might be missing something big IDK. For example I don't see the point in creating my own website for a course or using Twitter. These are all just my opinion not a statement of fact or anything.

Wiki:
    I didn't really understand what we would use this for for our students in K-12. I didn't really like its format or functions, they were difficult to use and get them how you want them. Once again I will say, I don't see how creating your own Wiki can help your students learn a topic. It feels like just another thing that is there to gather dust on a shelf. (Again this is all my opinion).

 Experience Using Twitter:     Personally, I have never liked Twitter, and I have never had the desire to use it. My first and only personal experience on Twitter has been this class as it is a required part of it. I fully intend on deleting my account after the fact. I do not find Twitter beneficial whatsoever and I don't see how it will help me in my future career, I was ok with trying it for this class, but I just don't see the point in it. The Digital Divide:     The digital divide definitely effects those who don't have access to the proper technology more than those who have it, if they are affected at all, as they cannot access certain key resources or even assignments. If students right now at FSU don't have access to a computer or phone to reach CANVAS then they can't even access their assignments. In regards to classroom experience as an educator, I will most likely encounter students of a lower income household who wont have access to technology....

 My Experience with MS Word:     I have personally spent a great deal of time working with MS Word and have found that it is my go to resource for any kind of writing based need or assignment. I have used MS Word at least once a day ever since I started my college career at TCC and continued to have used it consistently in my time at FSU. For me, while MS Word has a lot of customization options, it is simple to understand and use and has consistently worked well for me. I have used MS Word since Middle school and am still using it in my Junior year of College. The ISTE Standards for Educators:     It was interesting to learn about the ISTE Standards for Educators and what they all meant. Personally I feel the most meaningful standard is that of the Leader.  Information about me:     Hi I guess, my name is Daniel. I am, or strive to be, a very empathetic and kind person in any sort of way I feasibly can. I have a great love of fictional writing, poetry, and all around anything that can help me have an escape from this worlds constant conflicts and problems. Last year I went through all sorts of difficult events to deal with, my Grandfather dying, my dog dying, and me being diagnosed with ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), to name a few, 2021 was most certainly a difficult year for a lot of folks so I hope this year will be better.
