 (Note: All of this is of my opinion on the sites, if I am missing the bigger picture I am sorry)

Web Design Assignment:

    So unfortunately for me I could not complete the Web Design Assignment. On the day after it was due when I saw I could use a token to turn it in late I was like "Great! I can focus on something else I am behind on for today and do this tomorrow!" Cut to tomorrow and I go to use the token and see I can only submit the assignment ONE day late. So at that point doing the assignment was pointless to do since I could no longer turn it in. Something I did not like about the assignment is that I don't see how it pertains to teaching. I don't see the need to create a website of my own when the students are already having to deal with ten others (if they are college students) so for me it felt kind of pointless.

Diigo:

    I don't really think I have gained any skills from Diigo. It feels like another tool that we CAN use but not necessarily one we WILL use. Maybe I am just blind to the uses of all of these tools but personally I haven't seen how a lot of these tools can be used for teaching. Maybe for some in very specific settings/classes, but for me I can't see myself using them.

Tech and Teaching:

    There are somethings very helpful, in regards to technology integrated into teaching. For instance Zoom has been instrumental in the COVID times so that student's education didn't need to be put on hold. However, growing up in an area that wasn't exactly the most rich has left me a bit biased in the sense that you don't really need some tech for education. Really all you need is a computer and a projector, but I have seen dozens of teachers do just fine if not better without it.

 Experience Using Twitter:     Personally, I have never liked Twitter, and I have never had the desire to use it. My first and only personal experience on Twitter has been this class as it is a required part of it. I fully intend on deleting my account after the fact. I do not find Twitter beneficial whatsoever and I don't see how it will help me in my future career, I was ok with trying it for this class, but I just don't see the point in it. The Digital Divide:     The digital divide definitely effects those who don't have access to the proper technology more than those who have it, if they are affected at all, as they cannot access certain key resources or even assignments. If students right now at FSU don't have access to a computer or phone to reach CANVAS then they can't even access their assignments.  My Experience with MS Word:     I have personally spent a great deal of time working with MS Word and have found that it is my go to resource for any kind of writing based need or assignment. I have used MS Word at least once a day ever since I started my college career at TCC and continued to have used it consistently in my time at FSU. For me, while MS Word has a lot of customization options, it is simple to understand and use and has consistently worked well for me. I have used MS Word since Middle school and am still using it in my Junior year of College. The ISTE Standards for Educators:     It was interesting to learn about the ISTE Standards for Educators and what they all meant. Personally I feel the most meaningful standard is that of the Leader.  Information about me:     Hi I guess, my name is Daniel. I am, or strive to be, a very empathetic and kind person in any sort of way I feasibly can. I have a great love of fictional writing, poetry, and all around anything that can help me have an escape from this worlds constant conflicts and problems. Last year I went through all sorts of difficult events to deal with, my Grandfather dying, my dog dying, and me being diagnosed with ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), to name a few, 2021 was most certainly a difficult year for a lot of folks so I hope this year will be better.
