Select a Standard:
For the Fourth Grade, one standard says "Make connections between the text of a story or drama and a visual or oral presentation of the text, identifying where each version reflects specific descriptions and directions in the text." What I believe this means, is that you must make sure you make a connection between whatever text of a story you are presenting and a visual/oral presentation. Like comparing a book to its movie counterpart. I believe I could probably be able to do this, maybe?
CPALMS:
The resource I found was on the formal and informal "You". Which basically talks about how to learn when to speak in a formal or informal way and when you should talk as either. I would probably use this in my classroom. Whether or not it would work out well with me I don't know.
Internet Search:
It is important to be proficient in searching as a teacher, due to the fact that you will need to make sure you are able find credible sources of information. Not just information but pieces of media as well. I believe I can find what I need on the internet with relative ease, maybe I might have difficulty with more specific things. I guess one of the more difficult things would be navigating around all of the dang adds and pop ups on the internet.
